Would the white label (enterprise social networks) provided by Ning, Egonest, etc. benefit your enterprise/organization?
ref #376
So, these networks allow enterprises (businesses, organizations, etc) to create their own brandable social platforms for networking with customers, clients, employees, customers, etc. The question is whether you see these types of platforms as beneficial to your enterprise/organization. If commenting, how could it best benefit your enterprise?

2Although these offerings can assist businesses to easily role out branded web apps, it raises the question of who owns the data you collect.
Although, it is easy to role these types of apps out, it links your brand experience to another provider, if they go under or experience problems, especially security problems which leaks personal details, then this is linked with your brand.
I think that 3rd party web apps are useful for activities that are not related to collecting and storing any personal information of users that are connected to your brand.

I can't see the value add that would encourage an enterprise to go down this route
