Well onward we plod. To date the humanopinion.org message seems to be largely falling on deaf ears. Perhaps saying that ears cannot hear the message as there is too much other noise would be more suited.
Anyway, what is the message... I thought I might blog it here for some more visibilty. Well it is fairly simple really. There are over one billion people online today and we do not record our opinions in a centralised and concrete way. There is no free global data set on human opinion and it would be so easy to do.
At some point in the future artificial intelligence is going to start playing a role in society and when it does, it will be fairly rudimentary. It will not be able to search through the blogosphere and determine what people think and value. We need a concrete digital data set on our humanity. If not for AI then at least for the future generations, so they have a record of humanity that everyone could participate in when something made them want to record their opinion.
One has to wonder why we have not used the Internet for this yet.
