Is it OK for Anti-Hunt supporters to critisise hunting and shooting, when they eat meat themselves?

ref #214

I have always wondered how someone who can eat meat, especially from battery cages, can critisise hunting, when the majority of game meat shot gets sold to game dealers and distributed across the country to get eaten.

hunting and shooting is fine if the animal is not rare or endagered or wotever - but only if that animal is being shot for food!! we are homo sapiens, for goodness sake we used to have to catch and kill our own food for a LIVING! so protesting about hunters and shooters who are not going to eat their kills is perfectly fair for anti-hunting supporters, because we eat wot has been killed - hunters and shooters who dont are barbaric!

So if they ate all the deer they shoot, I would have to go and shoot my own deer as well...

deer stalkers sell the meat known as venison to game dealers, who mainly deal with butchers, hotels, resteraunts, and supermarkets. deer that are shot are never left unless the meat has been contaminated, this also goes the same with all game shot.

i wouldnt say never here mate - what about those (admittedly few) deer which are not found after they are shot - and then (though you may not want to believe it) there are the (few) pricks which just shoot for fun

Its totally different, hunting foxes for sport is not the same thing as farming animals for their meat ...

this question is not about fox hunting, it is about games shooting, and deer stalking
