Never done it myself but would agree that it would have to be something i love doing in order to get up in the morning. You don't mind hassle and hard work when it's for your own benefit, I guess. It must be quite exciting though.

I think it is all about starting up a business doing what you love. I think what lacks in most of us is the will and the courage because I have seen people start up businesses with very little finances!

Yes, very easy to start a business.... damned close to impossible to make it successful unless u got a brilliant idea or some financial backing.

Thanks guys, will keep watching for more... no financial backing and at the moment pay = cash in hand... interested in making a go of a new dj business idea I have

Its harder in the UK than it should be, too many rules and regs ... I think its one thing the Americans have got right - they realise that it is important to make it easy for people to start their own business - drives innovation etc
