I personally think we are standing on the brink of a new era. That may be why we feel that way. With all the things happening in the world today.... all the positive has to be balanced out I guess... But I do believe that in our lifetime we are going to discover things beyond our wildest imagination.

We already did, I saw the Internet evolving (and yes, from the very beginning in BBS, using an acoustic coupler) and once thought _nothing_ would _ever_ fill up my brand new 20 MB hard disc :)
