Do turkeys drown when it rains?

My delightful big brother once told me that if turkeys look up when it rains the water goes down their throats and they drown. Am not sure if I should beleive him, is it true?

they do, definitely
Wild Turkeys are not as stupid as the ones we see at Thanksgiving in the U.S., the store-bought ones. But yes, the store-bought ones seem more stupid and will drown if they look up.
