Will Google manage overcome copyright issues and leverage YouTube to generate income through advertising?

There is massive value in converting YouTube users into using other Google based products.

Google unified account model just helps with this process; there is the question of if they will integrate Google accounts with YouTube - just like they have done with every other company they have purchased.

I agree with your first post - they will definitely generate revenue, but can they ever get the streaming costs down enough to turn that into profit?

Speaking of which - I've heard some figures for their monthing costs but can't remember where they came from - does anyone have any links?

Surely the question is not if they will generate income - but if they will generate enough income to offset the cost of serving all that video!
